Studies and reports
In the course of our work we are often called on to produce reports and papers to document the results of a project or initiative or to explore the "lessons learned" in these efforts.
Several samples of this work are attached as examples of a much larger body of work. For the Los Angeles Children's Planning Council we reviewed the history of the organization, provided a picture of its current status, identified obstacles ahead and made recommendations for the future. Our paper became the centerpiece in an extensive community planning effort.
For the Greater Cincinnatti Community Foundation and the Annie E. Casey Foundation we reviewed the accomplishments and difficulties inherent in large scale community building efforts and noted "lessons" that might be useful to consider in future efforts. Both Annie Casey and the Greater Cincinnatti Foundation have been frequent clients for a number of years. For Seedco we assessed progress of the ArtBusiness Initiative and the Nonprofit Venture Network. For the Jim Casey Youth Opportunity Initiative we wrote about leverage and cost avoidance as regards youth aging out of foster care.
