IRA M. CUTLER
Ira Cutler focused his early career on social policy and public administration. He has been a direct service provider and front line supervisor in a public social service setting, a local and state administrator, and has worked in rural and urban settings. Ira worked in local government positions in Minnesota and Wisconsin and as Assistant Secretary for Health and Social Services in Wisconsin.
As an administrator Cutler was seen as an innovator and risk taker, often operating against the conventional wisdom.
More recently Ira was the Director for Planning and Development at The Annie E. Casey Foundation, and helped to establish a long range plan to guide the foundation through rapid growth and increasing national involvement.
Ira was a founding partner of the Cornerstone Consulting Group, Inc. While at Cornerstone Ira provided consultation to many national and local foundations, as well as government and nonprofit organizations.
IRA's work has primarily been focused on public policy, strategic planning and organizational development.
In Ira's twenty years of consulting experience he has worked with large private foundations and community and family foundations both large and small, with non-profit organizations and with state and local governments.
Cutler is an accomplished communicator, speaker and writer. He is a grandfather and has the pictures to prove it.
